Ahhhh, youth. I got the privilege of connecting with a beautiful couple a few weeks before their wedding to capture who they were as a couple and also connect with them before their beautiful day. Dana and Chase met me in the urban setting of Las Olas as another scenic perspective of South Florida as they wanted to avoid the clichéd setting of the beach. I got to discover and explore with them different aspects of who they were as a couple. So we followed a general storyline for the day where they initially were distant and by the end of our 2 hour shoot they would be loving and connected.
Cool & Aloof
We started with the couple being more aloof and disconnected. It was also my ploy to warm them up as a couple on a rare cool morning in Ft Lauderdale…
Fun & Familiar
As they began getting used to the camera and my presence we began to have more fun together and show their playful side as well as a hint of their deep connection as a couple…
Connection Commences
Once they were warmed up we stopped by a familiar spot for them and opened up more of who they are together…
Love in the Park.
We ended the last part of our time together at Victoria Park to show their loving connection in the midst of nature and a gazebo to frame their coupledom…
Natural in Nature
And to wrap up our morning together we just jumped into nature to frame who they were naturally…
On Track
And we ended the day with just a quick drive by the train tracks for just a timeless portrait of the couple to put an exclamation point to a great day.
